Position Details:Position: Client Onboarding Operations SpecialistShifts: Full Time - 5 days a weekLocation: New York City, NY -- 10019The Client Onboarding team is part of the Global Operations team of TD Securities (USA) LLC and carries out the Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Customer Due Diligence (AML/KYC) reviews for all new and existing clients. Responsibilities for this Client Onboarding Operations Specialist:The Client Onboarding Operations Specialist role is the lead subject matter expert in the AML/KYC due diligence process and oversees the day-to-day review process. The role will also serve as the deputy to the Client Onboarding Team Manager. Oversee day-to-day review process: Monitor group inbox and KYC application work queuesAssign work to Client Onboarding Team staffMonitor client request status; escalate delays and issues to Client Onboarding ManagerInitial point of escalation for staff queriesMaintain list of issues for discussion with Client Onboarding ManagementPerform Quality Assurance reviews and approve due diligence reviews completed by staffPerform AML/KYC due diligence client reviews on complex clients or transactions, including cross borderInteract with process partners to drive and facilitate the AML/KYC review process: Coordinate with Front Office, Credit, Compliance, AML Compliance and global Client Onboarding Teams to understand client/deal structure and agree requirements/responsibilities. Participate in process standardization and improvement discussions with Global Client Onboarding Teams and other process Perform process controls including, but not limited to, development and updates to departmental procedures, exceptions monitoring, data integrity, key performance and risk indicators, document tracking, etc.Key contributor to continuous process improvement efforts: Provide subject matter expertise and knowledge in support of process improvements. Interface with local and global process owners to understand process and policy requirements and operating environment. Recommend improvements to the process in areas of efficiency, control, and work quality. Ad-hoc and project support responsibilities, as required. QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent5-8 years of experience performing AML/KYC reviews in the financial services industry, including: Demonstrated ability to analyze a client request and identify the key requirements of the AML/KYC processDemonstrated self-starter; takes initiative to proactively prioritize and manage team workloadCapability to multi-taskStrong attention to detail and organization skillsAbility to communicate in a clear and concise fashion, both verbally and in writingStrong analytical skills, ability to simplify complex issues5+ years experience with MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPointKnowledge of GoldTier preferredAdecco offers a competitive benefit package.
